Endurance Road Rally Championship 2009

The S&SCC with the RAFMSA are pleased to announce that they have been able, with the enthusiastic help of authorities and landowners, to re-schedule the running of the 2009 Great Bustard Rally on 18th/19th April.

The event remains a round of the Sportway Tyres supported Endurance Road Rally Championship and is now also a round of the ASWMC Endurance Rally Championship.

Due to the rescheduling, new start and finish venues have had to be found. The event will still start from near Pylle Garage, but from a different venue. The finish prizegiving and Breakfast will be at the Wheathill Golf Club near Castle Cary

As the event is running later in the year, it has been necessary to alter the format slightly to accommodate landowners’ requirements, but we have retained all the venues planned. The first car will start at 15.30 on the Saturday and finish at 04.00 on the Sunday morning.

The Entry fee will be the same at £225 and updated regs will be available on here shortly.

Very shortly all existing entrants will be contacted with your options. Existing entries can of course be carried forward and you will still receive the £25 repayment as we will not be using Keevil. If you have entered and are unable to compete on the new date please contact the event secretary, Chris Damper, who will arrange a substantial refund of your entry fee.
