The Bustard Needs You!

The re-arranged date for the Great Bustard is just TWO weeks away. The organisers have done a sterling job in turning everything around after the disapppointment of postponing the opening round of the championship due to heavy snow.

More mileage has been secured in our favourite competitor venue Worthy Farm, this is from Maps off the mandh forum aka Mark Appleton: "Worthy Farm is again the longest selectif, but we've found a few new tracks in there to make it up to 11.67 miles and 96 junctions - that's an average of one junction every 195 metres - and you do it twice!

"Throw in some of the classic Bustard farm tracks and the new Longleat selectifs and there are over 51 miles of tests that will take you late into saturday night... and then there's 123 miles of road rally to contend with.

Makes me wish I was allowed to compete..."

If that's wetted your appetite then you can join in the fun by submitting an entry - even if you hadn't for the previous rally.

If your name was down for the previous event then please let the organisers know asap if you plan to do the revised rally.

Due to a few car issues I know of a few spare navigators who want/need to score championship points and if despearate then a former 'Lombard' winning nav could be prised out of retirement, let me know!!
